Roe vs Wade for MEN

The National Center for Men has prepared a lawsuit — nicknamed "Roe v. Wade for Men" — to be filed Thursday in U.S. District Court in Michigan on behalf of a 25-year-old computer programmer ordered to pay child support for his ex-girlfriend's daughter. The suit addresses the issue of male reproductive rights, contending that lack of such rights violates the U.S. Constitution's equal protection clause. The gist of the argument: If a pregnant woman can choose among abortion, adoption or raising a child, a man involved in an unintended pregnancy should have the choice of declining the financial responsibilities of fatherhood. The activists involved hope to spark discussion even if they lose.

#1 This guy is an ass, and someday his little girl is going to be able to understand and speak, and he will probably regret all of this.

#2 This man did have a choice when he chose to have sex. Condoms break, the pill fails, and everyone knows this. If you don't want a baby, don't have sex.

#3 Just because we have a stupid law that allows women to choose to abort doesn't mean we should add another stupid law that allows men to choose not to pay child support. As far as fairness in the woman being able to choose NOT to be a mother by having an abortion where HE has NO say so-THAT is unfair. Another thing that's unfair is that the BABY, who is also human, has NO CHOICE whatsoever simply because she doesn't yet have a VOICE to defend herself. This doesn't make her any less human than her parents. Women should not have the right to choose to kill a pre-born human. I know it's her body. What about the child's body? If what you want to do with your body will directly and negatively affect another human's body, you should not have the right to choose. A man who wants to use HIS BODY to rape a woman does not have a right to CHOOSE what he wants to do with HIS body because it is negatively affecting another human. Rape is illegal and a man doesn't have the right to choose what he does with his body if he is harming someone with it, and a woman shouldn't have a right to choose what she does with her body if it is going to harm another human being either. You have to take into consideration the other bodies that aren't yours that are directly affected by your choices. Murder is illegal, and so should abortion be. A pregnancy is only 9 months, and if you don't want to be a parent, give the baby up for adoption!
